Wanna see a half-ass band for $35 and have some $4 drafts too?This is the place.You can rock out to Better Than Ezra while pounding eight dollar Miller Lites.All the lameness of the 90's with drink prices from the future.

Diesel is 3.5 yrs and still the hottest venue!

This place has its act together and always brings entertainment to the city. I frequent there on the weekends, and always pop in a few times a month for shows. They have great customer service, and a great product. Sound is amazing for shows too.

Great Place to See Live Music then Dance

I have been to diesel about 8 times to see live music. The venue is large enough to feel like you are at a rock concert but small enough to see the stage without being too far away. Weekend shows are good because you typically can stay at the club and dance after the shows. The only complaint I have is that you cannot buy tickets for shows at the club, only ticketmaster and showclix... so you have to pay their fees. other than that, the place is a great place to see shows and drink!

• Pros: Intimate Shows, Not too Big - Goods DJs afterward
• Cons: Tough to get tickets sometimes

A Real Night Club in Pittsburgh

diesel has been around for some time now and they always produce a high level of quality service. they also are the only ones that have a strict dress code to keep the thugs and urbanites out. most other clubs sell out after a while but diesel has not. I frequent nightclubs when I go out of town and this place is the only one is pittsburgh that can compare to some of the clubs in vegas and miami. lots of energy. their vip gets busy, but is worth it with tables overlooking the dance floor. drinks are reasonably price too. they also have national concerts there 2-4 times a week which definitely appeals to some folks.

• Pros: Great Music, Sound, Lighting - No Thugs
• Cons: Gets crowded
