Stay away. Rude owner who gave a massage that made me feel worse than when I went in. Just not worth it.

NOT SO SPATASTIC. Going to a spa for massages, facials, etc. becomes a ritual, you have average experiences, you have above average experiences, you have fantastically unforgetable experiences that can be recalled with just a scent of lavendar that you smell passing by a florist that remind you of how lovely that specifc experience had been. Needless to say, I have had many, many enjoyable spa experiences, and with every new appointment, there is a new little internal excitement that you hope to be fullfiled.

This experience was neither - it drastically fell below my expectations, The area leading back to the "spa" section of the facility (it's a gym) is lovely, the spa services I received, not so lovely. The trained professional I was scheduled with was not trained in the massage I scheduled (why would one schedule a specific massage with someone who is knowingly unfamiliar?) When I made my appointment I was told that they weren't sure if the professional could do that type of massage, hot stone, that I requested but would let me know if there was a problem. The problem was they let that professional perform the massage anyway. It was awlful!! When it was finally over, and I could shower and get dressed, the professional left the room and closed the door, just as I was getting up, I was walked in on. It was NOT relaxing, calming, or enjoyable in any manner.

Other issues I encountered on this experiences were the policy for tipping. It's cash only, no gift cards, no credit cards. I was never informed of this prior to arriving for my appointment, it is a huge inconvience for modern women, who rely on the debit card. The owner was LESS than accommadating. ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT GO BACK. EVER!
