Italian Restaurant -- A little piece of Italy -- Spectacular. Bado's Cucina is nestled on Rt 19 near Donaldson's Crossroads in Peters Township...When you enter Bado's you receive a warm reception from the staff and owner, Sam Badolato. It is like taking a trip back to my family town in Calabria, Italy. From the wood-burning stove, Italian music and welcoming decor you are given a unique experience. Whether it be a business meeting, luncheon with friends, or dinner, Sam is always accommodating to his patrons. With his tapas menu, special luncheon menu, his unique tastings, or his seasonal menu, his expertise in enhancing your experience is a rarity in restaurants today. My personal favorites are his pasta fagioli, stuffed artichoke, and filet. After enjoying these you can complete your meal with one of his mouth watering desserts. My favorite is his bread pudding, delicious! We also had reserved a table for his Valentine's Day set menu, which was superb. We have utilized his services as an In-House Chef, for my birthday party in our home. What an impressive presentation for myself, family and friends to enjoy. I have just requested him to cater a christening for my fourth grandchild. We can't wait to see what Sam will be cooking up for us to enjoy!

Best in the South Hills and Washington areas. We frequent this neighborhood gem. The owner is a true professional, and his staff follows suit. The tapas are all fabulous, and the vodka sauce for the pastas is awesome. Thanks, Sam!
