If you are a musical artist planning a stop in Pittsburgh please consider any other venue first.

I saw Rusko at "The Venue" last night and was extremely dissapointed.

I love Rusko and have seen him several times and he always kicks ass.

The Venue has the worst sound system I have ever heard for a "club" or live music venue. The acoustics are horrible and my car (stock) speakers have better sounding bass . I could not tell what songs Rusko was playing most of time. The bass sounded staticky and you could barely hear the mid. He was also competing with their house DJ who was playing in the 21+ area, which was actually more fun because the sound system was decent (decent enough to hear it over in the live music area). That is NOT who i payed to hear.

I will never go back to this venue.

I would also like to say this is not review of a 'bad night'. I still had a blast dancing my face off with my friends and can not wait to see Rusko again.

If you are an artist planning to play in Pittsburgh please look into any of the other great venues in the city.

I love this place.. I go here all the time with my friends! Especially Saturday nights. Id reccomend it to a lot of 16 year old girls. Its the most fun you'll have in awhile.

Depending on who you r. Club Zoo is a nice place for the under 21 crowd to go at times. The bouncers in the front can be sexist. Almost any female can get in and they can wear the skimpiest thing (not that I'm complaining) and for males you must wear a polo or a really appropriate t-shirt. I was trying to get in with an pittsburgh hat and they denied me but when I got in I saw numerous pittsburgh hats. The thing behind that is that they were of European descent and I am African American. I once tried to get in with burnt orange dickies the bouncer denied me because he thought they were red I tried correcting him and still got denied. There are times where it's fun when inside. Accept if your at a club your suppose to play club music and there are times when the dj will play the worst music. I recommend it for girls because your basically guaranteed to get in especially if you show skin but if your a male if yu have a 2nd guess about what your wearing chances are you wont get in so find something you would wear that's nice like to visit grandma. Preferrably a polo and jeans AT WAIST..

worst customer service. as a mother this place would be the last place i want my kids to go....they are racial and sexist.....think about it girls (ages 15-21) get in half off if they wear a bikini and guys cant wear t shirts??????
