WORST Service I have ever experienced!. WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE!!! I went there 3 years ago for my friend looking for a wedding dress and the woman told her "since you are such a big girl it will be hard to find a dress anywhere else but here".....So yesterday I went in just because I am looking for a hairpiece for an upcoming wedding and couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere. She found me a flower and said she can sew it to a pin and pick it up Friday. Well today is Friday and when I went in it was still sitting there unfinished. She bossed me to sit down and wait and never apologized. She bosses her staff around! She is a very rude woman and I would NEVER go there again or tell anyone to try it. She HATES people and her job! She is miserable. There is nooooooooooo way any positive comments on this site are coming from anyone but the staff!!!
Customer Service Rates F!. I ordered my wedding dress, my 7 bridesmaids, jr bridesmaids and flower girl dresses from The Gown Co. and it ended up being a HORRIBLE experience. With all the stress of wedding planning, I didn't expect to have to deal with the worst customer service I've ever had in my life. First I was given the wrong timeline for when the dresses would be delivered. I was told 6-8 wks when I ordered them because the majority of the bridesmaids were out of town and then found out in Feb. that the actual time will be 8-12 wks. because of prom. The dresses came in two and half weeks before the wedding. When the flower girl dress was altered, there was paper IN the seams of the dress. It had to be cut out and the dress resown. When this was told to the owner, she basically said I was lieing. One of my bridesmaids went to get her dress altered and they gave her the wrong time that the seamstress would be there. The bridesmaid had explained when the appointment was made that she had to be at work and worked nights. Instead of apologizing, she treated her bad and then called me to complain because the bridesmaid was upset. The owner told me that she needed to get over it. The jr bridesmaids dress didn't come in the right size. I went to the shop to see what could be done since now, we're a week before the wedding and she told me that "she must have gained weight". She's 11. The dress was also the wrong color and the owner debated that with me and when I showed her the color swatches that I got the day I ordered the dresses, she just said "oh". I picked a sample dress that was the size that the jr bridesmaid dress was supposed to be and her had try it on. It fit perfect! The owner of the shop didn't apologize for ordering the wrong size. She made my 11 y.o. niece feel horrible and she was upset for fear she couldn't be in the wedding and we never got an apology. We didn't get a discount for the dress or any consolation for the horrible way we were treated!
