Great Salon. I've been going to Melissa for over 5 years now. I have never gotten anything but a great haircut and her color is wonderful. The salon is unpretentious. I've referred other people to her and they have had nothing but good expertiences.

Total Disaster!. My regular stylist left so I decided to saty and try the Owner, Melissa, to cut/highlight my hair. What a total disaster! First off, let me say she is so unprofessional, stops cutting or coloring to talk to other customers OR answer the phone (when there is an "assistant" recently hired who should be answering phones, ringing up clients, etc) I spend 4 HOURS getting a cut and highlights, and the highlights were so streaky and started about 1/4 - 1/2 inches from my scalp line. I looked like a skunk! And the haircut was so choppy with uneven layers and so much length was taken off, even though I did not ask for that. Now I have to wait a few months to let this bad cut grow out in order to get it fixed. What a disaster! I had only seen Melissa cut kids hair or the occasional old person, and I should have known better. Oh, and the plastic cutting cape they have you put on NEVER GETS WASHED - Melissa tells you to just hang it back up. How unsanitary! I was always sure to wear long sleeves in the salon. Overall a bad experience!!
