I've been to this place a number of times, and all of my experiences have been great except the last one. The food there is surprisingly good (we had hummus & pizza that we really enjoyed) and they seem to have a large selection of beers and some good tea. Usually the place is pretty dim, with coversations being carried on in each little group of people--very relaxing and a nice way to spend some time with friends. But beware... a few weeks ago a group of friends and I were stuck paying a $5 cover because a hip hop act was performing (they were terrible), and we were placed on the upper floor which is apparently 18+ so no alcohol was allowed. We are all 21+ but weren't warned of this, and the place was so crowded and the music so unbearable that we left without ordering anything. I recommend this place on most nights, but if it looks crowded make sure you find out where you'll be seated and if this is the ambience you're looking for!
