I don't even know where to start. The reviews below say it all. There are plenty of competent lawyers in Pittsburgh that deserve your money instead of this joke. Staff is unresponsive and rude. Dropped this place the first time I heard the lead lawyer throw a tantrum that would have put my 3 year old to shame.

The poster below is right. All of the support staff did seem to "jump off the merry-go-round" - the clients should take a hint and follow suit.

Possibly historically good service, but not now!. Looking at my fellow posters who have used May Law, there seems to be a trend. Positive service initially, but now a constant stream of disenchantment. My experience mirrors those recently, errors by the team, failure to accept the responsibility for those mistakes, too many cases and not enough staff, and an obsession with getting money before they'd even copy a piece of paper.

Valerie, go back to your company's roots and start putting the clients first - or you'll end up with none left!!

Excessive publicity does not equate to quality service. Another dismayed client. I can see many similarities, from meeting Valerie when instructing, but then palmed off onto one of the many assistants who no doubt regularly jump off the merry-go-round due to small pay. To gain a Green Card we were given incomplete information, requiring us to rush around at the eleventh hour to meet USCIS criteria.

May Law was very effective and focused on receiving their fees on time, but less so when giving further incorrect advice about citizenship. With so many clients, derived from the barrage of advertising boards in the city, they seem to struggle to focus on each client (reading the comments below) attaining a pitiful minimum standard whilst cashing their fees with speed. If they value their privileged position they should spend more time with their clients, reduce their hurried mistakes, pay their staff adequately to ensure continuity and put the customer first.

Very disappointed, and required a second attorney to save our situation.

Awful experience!. BIG MISTAKE's post below is 100% correct. May will take your money and then let you rot in jail. She doesn't respect her clients. Every time I would call her office someone else was working on my husband's case and each one knew less about what they doing then the next.

After months of dealing with May, I took my husband's case somewhere else and it was solved in a month even though May acted like it would take years.

Rude & Unprofessional lawyers. Terrible experience. I hired lawyers from this company and they appeared absolute liars and unprofessional. First of all they did not provide accurate information about my case and in general procedures which cause me a lot of problems, like they made me to fail to appear to pick up officer's decision and this caused to stop the clock ( and now I can not apply for work authorization), also they did not tell me that my case automatically would be referred to the immigration judge just because they did not want to loose money they were making from me. And when I complained they were so rude and unprofessional they started blaming me, fussing and screaming at me. Also the payment receipts they provide are very confusing and not on time. Over all I would not recommend them to anyone.

A BIG MISTAKE. Well, where do I begin?

Well from the first interview I was very well introduced to the team.

Then they dissapeared.

I was even locked up and I couldn't call them as they wouldn't except my calls.

This was from an Immigration Detention Center.

It is a terrible feeling knowing that you are on your own when you are supposed to be backed by a legal team??

In the 100 or so days in there, they never even met with me.

The dynamics of my case changed and they wanted 4000 more dollars just to send in a motion, which was a slam dunk anyways.

A couple of pre-typed pages and a few stamps??

If you are looking for representation please make a few calls and ask around before you make a decision.

It is not just the money, it is YOUR LIFE.

Yes I am very dissapointed.

The May Law group Lawyers that met with me in the begining still won't take my calls, but they pass me onto some guy there I never met or have any introduction to???

Becareful, Immigration Law is very tricky because they know you are their last chance.

However, even though they said my chances were not good, I prevailed without them. Becareful. Shop around.

Excellent Job. Excellent lawyer with extraordinary customer service. I am shocked at how quickly I got an appointment and how quickly they jumped into action. My approval was less than 8 weeks. I am so pleased with this firm. Miss May and her staff really know immigration law inside and out.

Not good!. I would never want anybody to contact this law firm. I sent my resume to them in November for immigration under NIW and still they didn't contact me. I called them 6-7 times and also sent emails to them. They never bother to even reply to my emails. Then, I decided to contact Klasky law group and got an attorney review within a week. Of course, it would cost for a session, but it's well worth than this firm. May law group states that they have 98% success rate. I doubt it.

6 week approval. National interest waiver approved in 6 weeks. I am thankful for this law firm. Recommend to people needing law help.
