Outstanding pasta-spinach ravioli
by honkbopsax
Go for the spinach ravioli or the panzanella salad. This place has the best italian food for the money.
- Pros: great pasta and salads
- Cons: occasional long wait
Wonderful pizza
by PGHdiner
The pizza and salads here are great and the restaurant is a delight to dine in. The brick walls and decor make for a relaxed, sophisticated dining space. Staff are attentive and helpful.
- Pros: Good food, Nice space
- Cons: BYOB
Great Food
by DebbieJackson
Although many of the reviews concentrate on the pizza, our experience has been with the dinner entrees which are fresh and tasty. All entrees are made to order and the amounts are just right. Many times we go to restaurants where bigger is better. This is not always true. Piccolo Forno is a friendly place where friends should meet to enjoy the deliciious fare. My favorite is the Crispella di Funghi and the Lasagna Toscano is the best I've eaten. Piccolo Forno reminds me of the many restaurants in NYC's little Italy. We generally show up early or late so as not to wait too long for a table. Save room for the tiramasu.
- Pros: Quality of food
- Cons: no reservations
