A copromise
by Qdogg
I joined this gym for the location. It has all the free weights and machines I need, offers good spinning classes, and has a comprehensive collection of cardio equipment. I do think, however, that they could offer more spinning classes.
A major turn off to this gym is some of the staff. A couple of staff members in particular walk around with an "I own this place" attitude and are very immature. From time to time, some of these staff members are loud and obnoxious.
I once had an experience where a staff member literally yelled at me at the top of his lungs when I was putting a road bike away after use. It was very unprofessional. Although this staff member may be one of the managers, I am surprised that the higher-level management stands for his behavior. It is a poor reflection of the gym's owner.
If I lived somewhere closer to another gym, I would join it over the X any day.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Rude staff
Worst Gym in Pittsburgh
by PittGirl
I joined this gym months ago based on convienience. Due to the poor facilities, not enough equipment, rude customer service, and terrible enviroment I decided to cancel my memebership. I cancelled 3 months ago, and I'm still being charged from my bank account. I have tried to contact the manager and there is no manager only the owner, who is always on vacation and never calls back. Be aware that if you join not only will you be getting subpar facilities, you will also end up paying far more than you intended.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Endless
