I frequent this deli weekly. The quality of ingredients is the best in town and I have been to most delis from the south, north and west. My favorite sandwich is the godfather and the rachel. They have an great assortment of side dishes, such as potato salad, coleslaw and a tomato and mozarella salad. One of the only places in the south hills to carry Tibetan Tea, which you have to try. The prices are right in line for the quality of food. You will never get lettuce that is wilted, soft tomatos or day old bread. Everything is fresh and that is worth paying for. Keep up the good work Fredo!!!
Not sure the last 2 guys went to the right place!.
This place has a great environment. Never been there for the coffee, but I have fallen in love with a particular sandwich, The Rachel. The owner is in new ways rude, but was outwardly nice and a pleasure to deal with. He treated me and my girlfriend like we were family. He is also the former owner of the carson street deli (voted best deli when he ran it). The prices are high, but you get alot for your money depending on the sandwich, he always piles on the meats. I definatly recommend this deli!
Sorry but this isn't real deli food..
The bread was average and the italian meats were rubbery. Poor beverage selection and too pricey. The place was decorated nicely but the food needs improvement. More money should go in to their products instead of the furniture.
Not worth the visit.
I was looking for a good corned beef sandwich, and this place was overpriced and had low quality corned beef. THey said their corned beef was kosher, not true, it wasn't even kosher style! For almost seven dollars I was getting a sandwich made from silverstar meats. This is not authentic deli food. The owner/manager was rude.
