Editorial Review for Fireworks at Point State Park – by Dan Eldridge
In Short
The riveting Zambelli fireworks display (starting at 9:30pm) isn't the only thing worth watching on the Fourth of July. The real draw is the thousands of rambunctious locals who gather here every year and create a real sense of community. Hundreds of boaters enjoy an unobstructed view of the show from their vantage point in the middle of the Allegheny River.

Insider Tips
Know Before You GoThroughout the night, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra might play live, or local hard-rock station WDVE might blast patriotic favorites from 10-foot tall speakers. Either way, it'll be loud.
