I went to this place on Dec. 27, 2010 to dine in and also place take order. The lighting is not that good. I never been in this place but it was cross the street and I was to try it. I place Steak salad with the steak to be done well done. It took 58 mins for me received my steak salad. At this point I was so hungry I did not check my steak. After few bites the steak did not taste right. Here my steak was likely it was cooked half way. I told my server she was very understanding but the manager on other note was very RUDE! I cancel my take out order. I ask for refund because of the long wait and repaid for my salad. He did not care at all. I WILL NEVER GO HERE again!

Rude Service.

My husband and I went to Silky's occasionally. It is right in the neighbor. Although pricey, we felt it was convenient. The service was never amazing. However, it was never down right rude until the last time. Our waitress was had us waiting. We were impatient, but it did take more than 15 minutes for a drink order. The place was NOT packed at all. Another table came in and were waited on first. My husband politely asked if she would take our order. She came over in a tuff. She was very short. She didn't answer our questions. She rolled her eyes. I NEVER SEEN THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR EVER! We left once we got the coffee. The coffee spilled on the table when she slammed the coffee on the table. I asked for cream. She stormed off. My husband and I were in shock! Mouth ajar, shock! My husband canceled our order. She said we couldn't do it. He gave her money and left. We will NEVER EVER support that place again.

Best Bar and Grill In Pittsburgh

I've been an avid fan of Silky's since I've moved into the area three years ago. Their selection of beer is pretty standard but the food is great. Huge portions at a good price are always a plus. The chefs specials feature a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches and other meals that change regularly so there's always something new to try. Also, their wings are fantastic, definitely the my favorite in Pittsburgh.

• Pros: Great Food, Large Portions, Friendly Atmosphers, Good Service
• Cons: Sometimes you can't get a table. Very popular spot.

Silky's combimes the best of a moderately upscale bar and a sport's bar. Television's everywhere, great beer and drink selection and a nice crowd. Not too many college kids, and not too many old folks.
