Excellent freshly prepared italian food, somewhat limited menu (although everything is great), good decor and atmosphere. The menu is somewhat limited, but everything on was great and made fresh (the homemade gnocchi I had was very good). Their Bruschetta was also excellent and freshly prepared. For a poor student such as myself it is somewhat pricey for dinner ($15 or so for an entre), however their lunch menu is exactly the same (including the portions) and is 2/3rds the price. Oh and the portions are quite generous. I just nibbled at my main dish and had to take most of it home (made a very good lunch the next day). I've eaten at many of the Italian restaurants in the Bloomfield area of Pittsburgh and so far this is my favorite. As a tip, they seem to be a fan of the 1/2 price gift certificate deals (that various TV/radio stations in Pittsburgh put on). They also allow these coupons to be used for alcohol, making spending $28 (w/ shipping) for $50 worth food/drinks an excellent way to splurge (while not breaking the bank) on a date.

Yummy. Delicious Italian food in a hip and cozy atmosphere. The staff are bright and attentive. The food is very authentic and fresh - the gnocci are top quality. Overall a very nice, if a bit pricey, experience. The upper bar was closed the nght we were there.

Simply AWESOME. A MUST PLACE TO EAT. Excellent service and food. The atmosphere is romantic, hip and upscale. Not enough places like this in the Burgh. Upstairs is a quaint bar and seating area for before or after dinner drinks. Great atmosphere.
