The Scene – Honoring the metal that made this town, this restaurant boasts reinforced architectural grandeur. Structural steel girders and a partially open stainless-steel kitchen reflect the halogen lighting, as do wire-sculptured bread holders and metallic salt and pepper shakers. Very pleased

Perfect for a party of two and be sure to request window seating - great view of the city. There was not a huge selection on the menu but they have some great steak selection (what they are known for). I chose a 14oz dry aged sirloin that was excellent. At $40 with one included side, it was a bit pricey but this is a top notch restaurant and you have to expect that.
The cotton candy at the end of the meal was a nice treat.
Tip to save - the Entertainment Book has a 'buy an entree, get an entree" coupon that can save you up to $22.

- Cons: none that I can think of
A poor experience
by Paulofpittsburgh
I took a party of buisness people with me for an early supper - the food was just OK but the service spoilt any benifits of the view and food quality did not meet the very high prices. Needless to say I will not make that mistake again!
- Cons: Very expensive for a lack luster experience
Fantastic Steak
by Billz1979
Visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend we were looking for a high end steakhouse which WASNT a chain(mortons, Ruth Chris etc) Pittsburgh Rare did not let us down. The steak was fantastic and the view was great.
- Pros: Fantastic Food and Steak!
- Cons: A little wait but to be expected
