I've been going to Lunasea for over two years and I continue to enjoy each haircut and wax treatment. The ambiance is relaxed and hip with bright design touches throughout. Marla is great - funny, trendy, and creative - and, of course, a very talented hair stylist. She listens to my ideas and then provides her suggestions. Becky handles the waxing, among other spa-related services, and keeps me relaxed. She does a great job with makeup application as well. In fact, Marla and Becky did my hair and makeup for my wedding and everything was perfect...the wedding photos are fab. When I moved from Shadyside to Mt. Lebanon, I could have easily chosen a new salon in Mt. Lebanon. But, I really enjoy the ambiance, friendliness, and talent from these gals at Lunasea. It's a true gem in the heart of South Side.

Cons: Parking can be challenging

I went to Marla and got an amazing haircut - she was OK with cutting hair a little asymetrical, which is a rarity.
