awesome catering job. I used them for catering,Charles and his crew did an awesome job at my daughters graduation party in June 2010. I am from the south (NC) and we were looking for REAL southern food! We did a tasting at Big Sam's and it was the real deal! They brought a pig and a large grill to my house and everyone was thrilled to watch the process. The side dishes were right on. Beautiful cornbread, mac and cheese, BBQ chicken, greens and more. You will try everything at the tasting and pick your favorite. The peach cobbler is to die for! I made my own sweet tea and our guests ate everything. Nothing was left. I got calls for a week from friends who were complimenting on the fun and the food! My twins graduate next and I'll be using Big Sam's again. Oh yes, and for those who know pork BBQ, they use a vinegar based sauce...perfect! B.Keefer Moon Twp.,PA

This place is not even close to 'Memphis BBQ'......YUK. I knew I was in trouble when I ordered my 'Memphis' ribs and the 'cook' took four large ribs out of the fridge (raw) and threw them on the skillet. Once they were 'fried' to his liking, he took a tub of lawrey's BBQ sauce and dumped it on them. I had beans on the side which for some reason tasted like vinegar.

This is a poor excuse for BBQ and it definately is not Memphis style. Stay away from this place (Wilson's a few blocks away is much better)
