If this place isn't where its at I don't know what is. Awesome cheap drinks, especially the craft beers. The food is the best homemade bar food. The short cook and the guy with the dreads are awesome, and they can sure cook. The bartenders are nice.... and they are twins. If you don't check it out you are crazy

Good fun neighborhood bar.. Ruggers is not a fancy or trendy bar by any means. It's the place to find cheap drinks in the South Side and they also manage to serve up some pretty decent food. The bar staff is always pretty friendly and prompt, and the jukebox is one of the best in the burgh (well, if you like the music I like).

They also feature live music on occassion, but I can't imagine where since the place is pretty small. It can get packed at nights, but happy hours are usually pretty calm affairs and outside of the lunch crowd the days are pretty dead.

Overall it is a fun bar and tends to attract friendly folks.
