Wonderful Spa Getaway A+ Service. I wanted to get my girlfriend a special anniversary gift. When I called the spa the receptionist was so helpful. She recommended many treatments and helped me create a "personalized package" for a spa afternoon for the both of us. Once there the staff was very friendly and professional. The treatments were great (I highly reccomend the Sea Salt treatment) and we were even able to receive them side-by-side. They really went out of there way to help us enjoy our special day. There was even an unbelievable home made lemon cake for us to snack on after our services. The receptionist also recommended an excellent place for dinner as well as a great B&B in town. My girlfriend and I had a very memorable time and will be returning next year for sure!

disappointing Sewickley spa. I had 2 visits with this spa. Both disappointing. The 2nd time was the worst. In the room, where you are in the robe & would expect some privacy, a man & his 12 yr old son were "hanging out" waiting. Several women were in this room & it is a very small room. "What about waiting in the waiting room?" Then while having a mani/pedi, they tromped into that room to check & see if mom was done yet. Dressed in a robe with your legs apart for the pedi, it was uncomfortable trying to get your robe to hide your state of undress. When noted to the staff, (who were quite young & inexperienced) nothing was done. Even a phone call to the owner the following Monday yielded little apology or sympathy. There was NO RELAXATION with this man & boy circulating throughout the spa. A total waste of money and time. Never again will I go there

what a waist. I received a gift that included 1 hour massage as well as a 1 hour facial. When I arrived I I was advised to change into a robe which they provided. I then sat in a room with 4 other women and waited for my name to be called. No one guided me through what I was to expect. They provided cookies, water, tea and cake. I was called and walked up the stair of creepy old house to then get ready for my massage. The massage therapist began my massage at 4:08 and was done at 4:38. What happened to the hour long massage??? I waited in the dark room for about 15 minutes until I was then greeted by the woman who was doing my facial. The staff was very friendly. The massage was just the woman putting some oil substance on and very gently waving her hands on me. Barely a massage. Very dissapointed. The woman who did my facial took long breaks in between things. i was with her for about 40 minutes, But with many boring breaks in between. I walked downstairs to check out only to be harrassed by staff waiting around for a tip. I am upset that I waisted my time there. All the hype and a very poor result. ladies don't waist your money.

conveyor belt service, not relaxing, overpriced. I was given a special package as a Valentine's Day present by my husband and had really looked forward to an afternoon of relaxation and pampering- boy was I wrong. The package included a back massage, foot massage, manicure, pedicure, and hair styling and facial mask. From the moment I got there I felt rushed and hurried. They tried to complete as many treatments at the same time as possible and I felt like I was on an assembly line. Instead of spending the entire afternoon enjoying one relaxing treatment after another I was in and out of there in under 2.5 hours. As a result I was not able to relax and enjoy and of the treatments and when I found out how much my husband had paid for it I felt even more cheated. I have been to a number of spaa before and since and ALL of athem far exceeded this one in every way. Don't waste your money or time!!
