What People Are Saying About Deja Vu Lounge

In Short – A trendy addition to the Strip District scene, this split-level club is where Steel City social climbers mix and mingle in four separate, chic lounges, as well as on the dance floor. Intimate table seating and leather couches on the first floor lead to spacious meet-and-greet areas upstairs featuring wraparound couches lining red-brick walls. During weekends and early evenings, a tiny sushi bar is open for business; sandwiches and salads are also served.

NotSo-FABULOUS

This used to be a great place to meet up with friends afterwork or on the weekends and now it's disgusting. Too bad, it was once a reliable place to go. It smells. We got sick from the food. The bartenders don't know how to make anything except for a rum and coke. It smells. I don't think the floors have been mopped in over a year, it's really disgusting. Hopefully they'll read this and try to pull it together. But I doubt it, because the clientelle that has started going there is pretty rough so I doubt they'll want to change it.
- Pros: Pretty atmosphere, location
- Cons: it smells
Classy libations without the "yinz"
by legallybrunette
Don't let the cheezy name fool you. This new P-Burgh bar/club has fabulous apple martinis and a young-professional clientele that doesn't say "yinz". Hey, they even have a VIP room!
- Pros: upscale crowd, great apple martinis, plush decor
- Cons: you're still in Pgh, cheezy name

Note:
Legendary local special-effects guru Tom Savini helped design the club.
Stars and Bars:
Wait in line long enough, pay your $5 and pass through the entrance, a cheesy makeshift "stargate," which transports you to a place with more than a few heavenly bodies.
What to Drink:
Making the transition from lounge to dance floor? The Raging Bull is a jolt of orange-flavored vodka and Red Bull served in a candy-rimmed glass.
