Attorney, Fardo was diligent, he worked hard for me and he ultimately got me a settlement that was fair. I never had the pleasure of meeting them in person, because I moved to the West Coast, but they were always professional, great with follow up by always returning my calls and responding to my emails. I highly recommend them. Thank you Noah!
Raise my taxes? Not until you raise everybody else's.... I moved to Pittsburgh in 2009 and bought a home in 2010. During my home search I paid a great deal of attention to tax rates, as it makes a huge difference on the monthly bottom line. At the beginning of 2011, I paid my taxes in full and on time only to receive a notice in the mail a few weeks later that the School District was trying to raise my taxes, for this year!!! Attorney Fardo explained to me in our first meeting that I was being targeted because the price I paid for my home was higher than the County assessed value from 2002. So I was being punished for buying a house? In the end, Flaherty Fardo represented me at the appeal hearing and I was informed a few months later that my taxes had not been raised. Good job and thanks!
Highly recommended.. I used Flaherty Fardo for my property assessment appeal. They did a great job for a very fair price, exceeding my expectations. Noah Fardo was great to work with, and kept me informed about my appeal. I'll definitely use Mr. Fardo and this firm again for any legal work - can't recommend them highly enough.
Fardo- not a typical lawyer. Noah rocks! He has helped me personally as well is in my business. I don’t really like lawyers and the great thing about Noah is he doesn’t act like one. When I have an issue we talk about it like friends and then he helps me decide if it makes sense to pursue it. Feel like kicking myself about my home property taxes with Allegheny County – I goofed and handled it myself before I hooked up with Noah. Had I known better I would have had him handle my prior assessment, and would have easily saved about $2,000 a year!. Look our 2012 assessments- I got Fardo!
