In Response to previous Accusations. This particular party wanted " Sweet Tea" I made it special. Not to Mention they all needed separate checks. And yes there where not many people in the restaurant but, are bar was full. The late guests orders where given minutes before and the reason for the length of time was due to the fact that they asked to have them boxed up. If you need to be somewhere show up on time. Steaks are meant to be cook at certain temperatures, if you exceed these temperatures the meat becomes tough. These individuals ordered a steak well done enough said. Don't hesitate to give Bridges a try! The food is excellent and we just started a new menu featuring the " Tastes of the Laurel Highlands."
Horrible Customer Service.
Friends and I decided to eat at Bridges because it was close to the Peterson Event Center (we were attending an event there). However, we make a big mistake! The service was slow and most of the party did not enjoy their food (from pizza to steak). We were all charged an 18% gratuity and were charged for iced tea that many of us did not order. We questioned the waiter about why those that did not order iced tea were being charged for it and his comment was "...well I made pitchers of ice tea for your party and so everyone has to be charged for it even if they did not drink any"
Our party was truly bothered by his comment and when we asked that they charges be taken off the waiter refused and stated that he couldn't do anything. My husband sent back his entire meal (steak) and Bridges made him pay GRATUITY and pay for iced tea that he did not have. We had two couples that arrived late and ordered salads (we pre-ordered their food before they arrived) and it took them over 30 minutes to bring them out (the place was empty...there were 4 other people there?30 minutes for salad)!!!!!!!!
Needless to say we are never going back to Bridges (ALPHA & OMEGA for BRIDGES)! If I were you I would never go to Bridges for dinner!!!!
