The Scene
A small, 10-table Vietnamese restaurant that's sparklingly clean and neat. You are greeted with a smile and a pot of steaming and aromatic jasmine tea, quick and efficient service, and a most happy, helpful hostess.
The Food
The meals are authentic homestyle Vietnamese. The centerpiece of the menu is pho, the traditional Vietnamese soup. Here, there are fifteen permutations available, with both chicken and beef bases. A side dish of basil, mint, bean sprouts, lime, and hot thai pepper is served to add in as one sees fit. The next course must be one of the delicious rolls. Goi Cuon, or summer rolls, is a combination of pork, fresh, crips vegetables, and shrimp wrapped in a rice-noodle wrapper. Dipped in a brown bean and ground peanut sauce, it is delicious.
Main courses consist of bowls of noodles or rice, filled with grilled shrimp, barbecue pork, beef, eggrolls, or whatever you like mixed in. Fresh lettuce is added, as well as a sweet and sour sauce, and the whole thing is tossed like a salad and eaten.

I was turned on to this place a few years back and i frequent it about once a month. Friendly family if you bother to get to know them. terrific new flavors to me. I am a huge fan of all of the condiments (although this is a bit more of Laos flavor than Vietnam). a bit americanized i will admit, but truly a diamond in the rough!!!!!! i like the #42 and shrimp rolls(fried ones) . don't be afraid of the fish sauce, it is your friend!

Great service, wonderful pho soup and spring rolls. tofu with lemongrass is superb. We tend to go there are least once every 2 weeks--for the price, it is easier than cooking at home!
