The Scene – A small, 10-table Vietnamese restaurant that's sparklingly clean and neat. You are greeted with a smile and a pot of steaming and aromatic jasmine tea, quick and efficient service, and a most happy, helpful hostess. – – The Food – The meals are authentic homestyle Vietnamese. A side dish of basil, mint, bean sprouts, lime, and hot thai pepper is served to add in as one sees fit. The next course must…
Editor's Tips
- Green People:
- Vegetarians have lots of choices, with gui cuon filled with tofu, fried salad rolls, and an excellent, if underspiced Singapore rice noodle.
- Hot Stuff?:
- Fortunately, the chef will gladly spice up your food to whatever you desire, and there are hot sauces on the table.
- Hint:
- Don't miss the terrific fresh juice drinks, including coconut, lemon, and orange.

I was turned on to this place a few years back and i frequent it about once a month. Friendly family if you bother to get to know them. terrific new flavors to me. I am a huge fan of all of the condiments (although this is a bit more of Laos flavor than Vietnam). a bit americanized i will admit, but truly a diamond in the rough!!!!!! i like the #42 and shrimp rolls(fried ones) . don't be afraid of the fish sauce, it is your friend!
Wonderful, inexpensive food

Great service, wonderful pho soup and spring rolls. tofu with lemongrass is superb. We tend to go there are least once every 2 weeks--for the price, it is easier than cooking at home!

I ate dinner with my 2 year old daughter. She loved the lemongrass chicken soup and I had the house special I saw the staff eating; Beef with bean curd soup made spicy. The staff was friendly and they provided fresh basil with meal as well as mung beans.
Great authentic food!

This is good authentic food. Big portions and great service. It is small and out of the way - but worth traveling to.
don't judge a book by its cover!

Excellent food, spiced the way you request...the pho and #43 were suggested and great! BYOB made for a good evening for a group of friends. Pleasant, simple, friendly environment.
- Pros: food, service, parking (until the neighborhood picks up a bit)
- Cons: neighborhood...but it is getting better fast!
