The Scene – Inside and out, this property is romantic and brooding. A wrought-iron gate stands sentry in front of the imposing stone facade, while the interior showcases ornate chandeliers, carved fireplaces and four-poster beds. The home once belonged to Russell H. Perfect Getaway

My boyfriend took me to The Inn for my birthday weekend, and I could not have been more impressed. Jeff, one of the Innkeepers was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were also lucky enough to get a glipse of most of the rooms in the Inn, and each was creativley and tastefully decorated in a clssic victorian style. The room was quite large, and we had the smallest room!! It was the perfect weekend. I felt absolutely swept away. I will definately be returning!
- Pros: Beautiful, great service, relaxing enviroment

Recently stayed at the Inn on the Mexican War Streets for a college football game weekend played at Heinz field. Its convenient location (a short walk to both PNC & Heinz) was just one of the pluses.
The Inn is beautifully decorated and innkeepers Jeff and Karl are excellent hosts. Rooms and immenities were excellent.
The public areas of the inn - particularly the large front porch. made it easy to mix and mingle with other friends who met up with us at the inn before and after game.
- Pros: Close to Sports, Romantic, Good Hospitality
