In Brief
Master baker Joe Nolan's upscale offshoot of Cafe Allegro (where Nolan was previously executive chef) attracts foodies from far and wide with its unusual diversity of baked goods. The signature loaf is a hand-shaped, round sourdough; a pricier bread of the month--usually centered around a fruit or vegetable filling--allows variety without sacrificing quality. Some desserts, such as coconut macaroons, ginger walnut cookies and cheesecake, are also for sale.

We would highly recommend Allergo Hearth Bakery. The have by far, a very good selection of the best baked goods. It is nice to deal with a local business.
