Editorial Review for Jerry's 1888 – by Citysearch Staff
In Short
The deck, high up and away from the grime of the city streets, is a great place to stop at for happy hour, or even to settle into for the evening. Although it isn't open every night, most Fridays and Saturdays are safe. Hungry patrons enjoy filling sandwiches like the Stadium burger, which is "built like a pizza" and includes sauteed onions and peppers. Two nights a week, karaoke cranks up in the bar area.

Jerry's has to be the best neighborhood bar I've ever had the chance to enjoy. The drink specials are great. Only $1.50 for a Yuengling draft on Tuesday and Penn Pilsner (seriously) on Saturday. The menu is also a special treat. Anything you order will make you salivate upon seeing your dish, and your tounge greatful four having eaten it. And the staff is by far the most friendly I've encountered in Pittsburgh. Thanks Jerry, Christy, and Ben!
Pros: Inexpensive, Great Selection, Great Atmosphere
