Mediocre service. The food was good, but the service was mediocre. At these prices, I expect a more attentive waiter/waitress. Dessert was a disappointment.
Cornering the lunch market on the North Side..
The Scene
This restaurant is tucked into one of the city's most striking structures, the Alcoa Building. A clean, black and metallic look complements the architectural brilliance of the Alcoa Building's exterior very well. Large windows facing Isabella Street allow for more than adequate lighting, even on the most overcast of days.
The Burger
Their 1/3-pound angus burgers are of a manageable size, so don't worry about straining your piehole to stuff it in. Unless you like it really charred, medium well is your best bet, and the cheddar cheese is the perfect addition.
Who's There
Alcoa employees, downtown employees looking to stretch their legs over the Seventh Street bridge, Citysearch workers. (For extra friendly service, ask for Amy.)
Other Fare
Pizzas are delicious, from a meat-lover's to a not-too-garlicky white, as are their wraps. And ever heard of a doggie bag for a salad? They're just that big and filling.
